The Job Role.....
As a Chef De Partie or Demi CDP you will be reporting to the Sous Chef assisting the brigade in the smooth running of daily operations.preparation of high quality food ensuring the highest standards are met at all times, in line with company regulations. Being a team player with a flexible nature to be able to assist colleagues and training chefs.

You will gain great experience as a Chef De Partie in all function areas of a busy Hotel with banqueting and fine dine restaurant service.

I am looking for a reliable breakfast chef to cover a temporary assignment for the duration of approx 6 weeks. Start date - immediately

Hours : 6am - 1pm Seven Days a week..

Hotel just outside Cardiff - multiple food outlets and banqueting operations looking for a talented Breakfast Chef.

The Person:
Ideally you have worked as a breakfast chef is a similar environment - and because of the early starts , driving is essential as public transport is limited in the early hours.

Key responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking breakfast
Sometimes manning the breakfast buffet
Ordering stock for the kitchen
Stocktaking
In some kitchens you'll assist with room service orders and help in the main kitchen when needed.

What sort of hours will I work?

You'll need to be an early bird as most kitchens will expect you at your stove and flipping eggs by 6am. That said, even if you're helping with prep for the main kitchen, you should be wrapped up by 3pm. You'll probably work a five-day rota, which means working some weekends.

What's the best bit about being a breakfast chef?

You work a daytime shift, with the afternoons and evenings free. It's also a nifty way of getting a job with a blue-chip hotel that can provide training and long-term career development.
